Charles Entertainment are based in Bradford, West Yorkshire but cover the whole of the United Kingdom

Is delivery free?

We provide free delivery and collection of all hired products to customers within a 15-mile radius of Bradford (BD1). Customers beyond this radius are charged a small fee to cover travel costs. Take a look below at the map that covers the 15-mile radius.

Does Charles Entertainment take security deposits?

As stipulated in our terms and conditions, a security deposit is mandatory for all unattended hires. This deposit is to safeguard against any potential damages or losses to our equipment during the period it is hired out and left unattended by a Charles Entertainment representative. The deposit will be refunded post-hire, assuming no damage has occurred, and all terms and conditions have been met.

Where can I find the Terms and Conditions?

All customers will receive a copy of our terms and conditions before any booking is confirmed. Customers should carefully read our terms and conditions before making a booking.

Is Charles Entertainment insured?

Yes, we hold the relevant insurance required for our business activities. Venues that require proof of insurance will be provided with a copy of our certificate before any hire commences. Upon booking with Charles Entertainment, please provide the venue with our contact details should they wish to contact us.

Can Charles Entertainment provide my venue with the relevant PAT testing information?

Yes, all our electrical equipment is Portable Appliance Tested (PAT) and inspected regularly. We hold a full PAT register and can provide this to the venue before any hire commences.

What is the difference between a selfie photo booth and a magic mirror?

The choice between a magic mirror and a selfie photo booth is yours to make. If space constraints are a concern, then a selfie photo booth might be the better choice. On the other hand, if you desire an attendant and space is not an issue, then a magic mirror might be the ideal option for you.

 

 

When hiring marquee letters and numbers, how is delivery and collection arranged?

Once booked, we will communicate with customers to better understand if there is a specific time that they would like the letters and/or numbers dropped off. Usually, we intend to deliver hired items at latest, one hour before the event is due to start, giving us enough time to set up and test. Customers can make us aware of any specific location that they would like the hired items to be placed but this is subject to our T&Cs which all customers will have received. Once the hire duration is complete, we aim to collect the hired items immediately after however, depending on the time and in some instances, this may not always be possible and so we will communicate the collection time with customers and the venue before the booking commences.

Do Charles Entertainment stock the equipment that they hire?

Yes, in contrast to many entertainment hire companies that accept a booking and then procure a company and/or equipment to fulfill the hire, Charles Entertainment owns all the equipment we offer.

What space is required for 360 Photo Booths?

Our 360 photo booths are 100cm in diameter and we allow up to 3-4 people on the platform at any one time. To allow safe operation of our 360 photo booths, we require a suitable space in order to operate the equipment in a safe manor. We require at least 3 to 4 feet clearance around the 360 Photo Booth and a ceiling height of at least 7 feet.

What space is required for Magic Mirror Photo Booths?

Our Magic Mirror photo booths stand approximately 6 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide. To ensure safe and smooth operation, we require a suitable space for setup and guest access. We recommend a minimum of 6-8 feet of clear space in front of the mirror for guests to interact comfortably, with at least 2-3 feet of clearance on each side. If a backdrop is being used, an additional 5 feet of space behind the booth is necessary.

For safe access, the mirror should be placed on a flat surface, with clear pathways for all guests, including wheelchair users. A ceiling height of at least 7 feet is also required to accommodate the booth and any lighting setups.

All our Magic Mirror photo booths are equipped with suitable barrier controls and are monitored by our attendants to ensure the safety of all guests.

 

Our Magic Mirrors can weigh up to 100KG and so it is imperative that we have the correct access to the setup location.

What space is required for Selfie Photo Booths?

Our Selfie Photo Booths are compact and versatile, making them a perfect fit for events with limited space. Standing approximately 5 feet tall and requiring a minimal footprint, they are designed to blend seamlessly into any venue.

To ensure safe and enjoyable operation, we recommend a space of at least 3-4 feet in front of the booth for guests to pose and interact, along with 1-2 feet of clearance on either side. A flat surface and a ceiling height of at least 7 feet are required for proper setup.

Thanks to their compact design, our Selfie Photo Booths can be placed in tight spaces while still delivering a full-featured, engaging experience. As always, our booths are equipped with suitable barrier controls to keep all guests safe during use.
